Dr. Stephanie McKay, an Associate Professor at the University of Vermont, will present a CGIL Seminar on Thursday, February 6th. The seminar will begin at 10:00 AM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: “A Neuroepigenomic Investigation of the Bovine Brain”.

Dr. Bo (Eddie) Pan, a Post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Animal Biosciences, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, January 31st. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: “The egg does not wait”.

Dr. Paul Hebert, a Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology and Director of the Centre for Biodiversity Genomics, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, January 24th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: “BIOSCAN: Progress Towards Planetary Biosurveillance”.

 

 

  Dr. Aroa Suarez-Vega, a CGIL Post-Doctoral Fellow, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, November 29th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: "Identification of Long Non-Coding RNAs Linked to Gastrointestinal Nematode Parasite Host Response in Sheep".

Dr. Ludmila Zavadilová and Dr. Eva Kašná are researchers from VÚŽV, the Institute of Animal Sciences, in Prague (Czech Republic). They will present a Special CGIL Seminar on Tuesday, November 26th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is “Dairy cattle breeding for health traits in Czech Republic”.

  Dr. Nicolas Friggens, Project Coordinator for GenTORE, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, November 15th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: "An Update on the GenTORE project ".

  Dr. Jan Lassen, a Senior Project Manager at Viking Genetics, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, November 15th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: "Using 3D camera technology to make individual feed intake measures in commercial dairy cattle farms".

  Dr. Hakimeh Emamgholi Begli, a post-doctoral researcher in CGIL, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, November 8th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of the presentation is: "The Study of Egg Production Traits in Turkeys".
