This week we are happy to have Dr. Bruno Galindo, a visiting professor at the University of Guelph, presenting for us on Friday, November 10th, 2023. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Insights of genetic diversity distribution within a neotropical watershed".
Speaker Biography: Dr. Bruno Galindo has a bachelor's in Biology and a Master's and PhD in Genetic and Molecular Biology. He has been a professor at the State University of the Northern of Paraná in Brazil since 2007, where he has been conducting his research in Conservation and Diversity of Neotropical Fishes. He has also contributed to the implementation of sustainability policy at the university. Between 2014 to 2022, he acted as the Dean of Planning at the same university. Currently, he is a visiting professor at CGIL at the University of Guelph.
