This week we are happy to have Dr. Jenelle Dunkelberger, a geneticist at Topigs Norsvin, presenting for us on Friday, February 7th, 2025. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The presentation title is: “Breeding strategies for improved health and welfare in pig production” 
 
Speaker Bio: Jenelle Dunkelberger is a geneticist at Topigs Norsvin, based in Minnesota, USA. She holds a PhD from Iowa State University, where her research focused on the role of host genetics in pigs' response to viral diseases. She continues to study this topic, along with other health-related issues, as Head of the Topigs Norsvin Global Health and Behavior Research Platform.
