We are happy to have Simona Antonios, PhD student at INRAE, presenting for us on Friday February 10th, 2023. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Partition of the genetic trend of French dairy sheep in Mendelian samplings and long-term contributions".
Speaker Biography:
Simona Antonios, a PhD student at INRAE (Institut National de Recherche pour l'Agriculture, l'Alimentation et l'Environnement), Toulouse, France. I have a strong curiosity in developing and understanding quantitative genetics approaches. I am particularly involved in the evaluation, design and optimization of breeding programs. More precisely, I am interested in finding new ways of considering genetic diversity in French dairy sheep breeds for sustainable future breeding programs.
