We are very happy to have with us Dr. Donagh Berry, senior principal investigator in quantitative genetics at the Teagasc Moorepark Research Center, to present a CGIL Seminar on Friday January 28th, 2022. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: “Beef-on-Dairy”.

Speaker Biography:

A beef and sheep farmer from the South of Ireland, Donagh Berry is also a quantitative geneticist at the Teagasc Moorepark Research Center, Ireland. He is responsible for research on the genetics of cattle and sheep in Ireland which includes investigating novel approaches to data collection, undertaking genetic and genomic evaluations, derivation of breeding goals and the development and deployment of associated decision support tools. He’s taken a bit of a keen interest in beef-on-dairy recently.
