We are happy to have Dr. Zulma Vitezica, a professor at the Institut National Polytechnique of Toulouse, France, presenting for us on Friday, February 17th, 2023. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Genomic prediction with non-additive genetic effects".
Speaker Biography:
Zulma Vitezica graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires and got her Ph.D. in Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon. She is a professor of Animal Breeding and Quantitative Genetics at Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse. Her research includes genetic evaluation and genomic prediction in animal and plant breeding, in particular considering dominance and epistasis.
