We are happy to have with us Dr. Jan Lassen, Senior Project Manager at VikingGenetics and Adjunct Associate Professor at Aarhus University, to present our first CGIL seminar of the year, Friday January 20th, 2023. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Genetic and management analysis of efficiency and body weight data using 3D measures in commercial farms".
Speaker Biography:
Dr. Lassen is a Senior Project Manager at VikingGenetics and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Aarhus University in Denmark. He has been at VikingGenetics for 6 years with focus on developing data for breeding value estimation for efficiency and methane emission in dairy cattle. In general, he is interested in new phenotypes and their genetic analysis, with the main driver always being the application for dairy farmers.
