Animal Models and Variance Component Estimation

Course Description

This course covers linear model methodology in animal breeding for genetic evaluation of livestock and for estimation of genetic parameters. Examples will be demonstrated using the R statistical software package. It is recommended that students bring their own laptop computer with the latest version of R already installed.
